I feel like a broken record because I almost always suggest this, but maybe UFO- "Rock Bottom" or "Doctor Doctor’ Great band, perhaps the most overlooked and underrated of all time. For a real treat, try some of their earlier stuff like "Prince Kajuku" and "Treacle People" for a hard rock/60’s pyschodelia mix.

Thats a pretty varied playlist, so maybe you’d be into bands like:
(song suggestions are follow the band in parenthesis)
Uriah Heep (July Morning, Salisbury) Budgie (Breadfan), Deep Purple (Hush, Highways Star), The Animals (We’ve Got To Get Out of This Place), Golden Earring (Radar Love, Twilight Zone) Blue Oyster Cult (Transmaniacon MC, Stairway To The Stars, Dominance/Submission)

and for a couple really obscure bands, anything Captain Beyond, Buffalo, Warpig, if you can find any of them.

Oh, and thanks a lot- "Dead Babies" and "Be My Lover" (My two favorite Alice Cooper songs) are going to be stuck in my head for the next 3 weeks. I JUST got rid of them
